BIOTIN
Biotin – or vitamin B7 – is a substance belonging to the B vitamins and is water-soluble. Among other things, it is responsible for the proper functioning of the nerve centre and sex organs, but above all it is essential for the health and beauty of the skin, hair and nails.
Biotin belongs to the B vitamins and, like the other B vitamins, is soluble in water and insoluble in fats. It has a very high biological activity and plays an important role in human metabolism. It is a component of important enzymes and is involved in the synthesis of fatty acids and the metabolism of carbon dioxide.
