Forest Vitamin® N-acetyl L-cysteine is a dietary supplement containing 100% N-acetyl L-cysteine. It is a sulphur-containing amino acid that is essential for the health of the skin, hair and nails. It is involved in the production of collagen. It is also a component of certain digestive enzymes.
Cysteine is one of the endogenous amino acids, i.e. those that the human body cannot synthesise on its own. Due to its specific chemical structure, it is able to bind many toxic substances.
